چکیده

Let X be a projective scheme and let M and N be two coherent OX -modules. Given an integer m, we present an algorithm for computing the global extension module ExtX (M,N ). As a consequence, one may calculate the sheaf cohomology Hm(X,N ) and construct the sheaf corresponding to an element of the module ExtX(M,N ). This algorithm depends only on the computation of Gröbner bases and syzygies and has been

Computing Global Extension Modules for Coherent Sheaves on a Projective Scheme

Let X be a projective scheme; let M and N be two coherent OX modules. Given an integer m, we present an algorithm for computing the global extension module Ext(X;M,N ). In particular, this allows one to calculate the sheaf cohomology H(X,N ) and to construct the sheaf corresponding to an element of the module Ext(X;M,N ). This algorithm can be implemented using only the computation of Gröbner b...

ANNIHILATOR OF LOCAL COHOMOLOGY MODULES UNDER THE RING EXTENSION R⊂R[X]

Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring, I an ideal of R and M a non-zero R-module. In this paper we calculate the extension of annihilator of local cohomology modules H^t_I(M), t≥0, under the ring extension R⊂R[X] (resp. R⊂R[[X]]). By using this extension we will present some of the faithfulness conditions of local cohomology modules, and show that if the Lynch's conjecture, i...

Design and Implementation of Parallel Java with Global Object Space

Java 1 has emerged as a dominant language that could eventually replace C++. It is believed that using Java would boost programmer productivity because of its well-thought design, independence from backward-compatibility with C, absence of arbitrary pointers, etc. We present the design and implementation of a parallel extension to Java. The parallel extension provides dynamic creation of remote...
